Trainings for the Learning about L.I.F.E. program are offered several times a year at the TYME OUT Youth Center in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. to register for FacilitatorTraining
1. Consider who will be trained to facilitate this material. We have designed a sample invitation which you may wish to use to help attract a special volunteer or staff person to this unique calling. It may also serve as your own personal invitation.

2. Attend a Training workshop This is a one-day course with lunch included. The first session of the day is recommended for those who want to learn about the program (principals, pastors, parish catechetical leaders, parents) as well as for those who intend to actually facilitate the program.
- Gives an overview of the Learning about L.I.F.E. program, including the supporting theological and catechetical principles.
- Includes teaching techniques specific to family-based and/or intergenerational programming. These are provided by the author, Kathie Amidei, known for her pioneering and successful work in lifelong learning.
- The remaining day provides detailed training for those who plan to facilitate either the three Lower Level sessions (grades K through 4), the three Upper Level sessions (grades 5 through 10), or both.
- Provides a luncheon opportunity to network with others who are involved with relationship education and abuse prevention training.
- Discusses related issues like mandatory reporting and use of the learningaboutlife website.
